Accolade is setting up its fourth project in Spain. This time in Andalusia near Seville.
The Accolade Group, which invests in infrastructure for modern and sustainable business, is responding to the high demand in the Spanish market and is preparing its fourth project within a year of entering this location. The Group is investing in land in Andalusia, near Seville, Spain's fourth largest city, on which it will build a modern industrial warehouse of more than 11,000 sqm. The value of the project amounts to almost €11 million.
The investment follows three previous projects in Spain, two in Valencia and one in Vitoria, with a combined value of €70 million. Like the previous buildings, the new world-class warehouse will aspire to a high level of BREEAM certification.
“It appears that there is a very low supply of industrial halls around Seville, while there is a high demand for such facilities, as well as sufficient workforce in the area, which together represents a great opportunity for our further growth. We will be pleased to provide the Spanish market with modern and sustainable industrial properties, supply of which is lacking for companies operating in the EU's fifth largest market,” said Milan Kratina, CEO of Accolade.
The park's location near Seville boasts excellent strategic position, with the city centre only 20 minutes away and the airport 13 minutes away, with the park being conveniently connected to the ring road. The local authorities are well prepared for business development and ready to cooperate. Moreover, the site lies directly in the zone designated for the industrial park. Although there are more than 2 million inhabitants in Seville and the surrounding area, the supply of warehouse space in the area is very low. Construction of the hall will begin in the second quarter of next year and will take approximately 9 months to complete.
