Accolade signs a record loan for a cutting edge distribution centre in the Czech Republic
We are very proud to announce that we have secured the largest ever loan for a single industrial rental property in CEE. A total of 137.5 million EUR was provided to part-finance the construction of an automated distribution centre near Kojetín. "The building is modern and environmentally friendly and therefore expensive. That's why the loan is so large. In these projects, it is always a combination of credit and self-financing," explained Accolade CEO Milan Kratina adding that he greatly appreciates the trust that Komerční banka, Česká spořitelna and Raiffeisenbank Česká republika place in Accolade's activities and in the future development of the industrial real estate market. We would also like to thank the law firms Allen & Overy and Clifford Chance for their meticulous work on this project. The financing of this unique construction on the brownfield site of a former sugar factory was also the subject of Milan Kratina’s interview for Seznam Zprávy | Byznys. The interview also covered other interesting topics, such as new trends in logistics, how the current situation affects Accolade's business and how the group is doing in the six countries where it operates, with a focus on Poland, which Accolade considers its main business along with the Czech Republic.
