Groundbreaking ceremony in Sevilla - Accolade further expands its portfolio in Spain
This week saw a groundbreaking ceremony for a new facility near the Andalusian capital of Sevilla in sunny Spain. Besides our colleagues Lukas Repal, Jan Mazáč and other distinguished guests, the ceremony was attended by the mayor of the nearby town of Alcalá de Guadaíra Ana Isabel Jiménez Contreras and the deputy minister in charge of territorial development in the region. The industrial facility in Andalusia brings Accolade's total number of projects in the Iberian Peninsula to six. Three of them are currently under construction. 🏗️
The Andalusian facility, which is scheduled to be completed in December 2022, will have a floor area of over 6,500 square metres and a value of €8.5 million. Like other properties in Accolade's portfolio, it aspires to a high level of BREEAM sustainability certification. Its strategic location offers another great advantage. The city centre is just 20 minutes away from the site, the airport 13 minutes away and its connection to the city’s ring road is also a huge benefit. It is the combination of these positives which we believe will make the facility a success and a clear asset to the region's development, as the area around Sevilla lacks this type of real estate. ¡Nos vemos en Andalucía!
