"It was Milan Kratina who convinced me to rent an industrial facility in Cheb," says ShipMonk owner Jan Bednář
ShipMonk is renting a facility in the Cheb South park. The company of Czech entrepreneur Jan Bednář, which stores and ships goods for American online stores, will set up a distribution centre in an industrial warehouse with a total size of 15,000 sqm.
The facility, which aspires to meet the most stringent environmental requirements according to BREEAM New Construction, is currently being built by Panattoni. Besides a first-class industrial facility, the new tenant will benefit from the park’s excellent strategic location with great transport links to Germany.
"I am happy that I managed to convince Jan Bednář that our warehouse in Cheb is the right place for ShipMonk's first distribution centre in the Czech Republic. The story of his thriving business, which he started as a student and whose potential is constantly growing, is admirable. ShipMonk is exactly the type of a globally successful company for which we wanted to develop this site. The decision was made years ago and today the Cheb Park is one of the most attractive sites, providing ideal conditions both in terms serving Western markets and using the talent of the local workforce. And to top off the good news, the completion of this building will lead to a complete restoration of the Cheb site," explains Milan Kratina, CEO of Accolade.
We trust that the building will provide a high quality working environment for our partner and already look forward to the handover!
