When silver feels like gold 🏅

Winning a silver medal can evoke mixed feelings immediately after a sporting event. On theone hand, the joy of undeniable success, on the other the realisation that the top spot was just within reach. In the 2022 Svoboda & Williams Cup, after a thrilling penalty shootout, we had to acknowledge that the tournament organiser’s team deserved gold, yet we all felt likewinners in the end. How so?

Afterwards, we found out the amount of money raised for charity, which was the primaryreason for organising this indoor football tournament for major real estate companies. Theentire amount of 528,900 CZK will go to the Tereza Maxová Foundation for Children, whichhas been helping disadvantaged and abandoned children since 1997, advocating for them to grow up in a family. Thank you for the opportunity to get involved, we are looking forward to next year and of course are already gunning for first place. 😉
