Accolade secures new investment in Lublin voivodeship
The latest investment by Accolade, an international investor in industrial real estate, will be located in Świdnik and provide easy access to the Lublin region. It will offer 54 000 sq m of modern warehouse space. The industrial park in Świdnik will consist of two buildings. The majority of the space was already leased to three companies from the manufacturing and logistics industries. The park will be located just 1 km from the border of the city of Lublin, where Accolade already has another warehouse park. Accolade has been present in the region since 2015, and their investment here will amount to over 130,000 square meters, with the total value of the investment in Lublin voivodeship amounting to 115 million euros.
Lublin and its surrounding areas serve as a crucial logistical hub for central-eastern Poland and beyond its eastern borders. Accolade's latest investment is situated within a special economic zone, just 10-minute’s drive from Lublin International Airport and granting swift access to the S12 and S17 express roads. These express roads connect the city with other major locations, such as Piotrkow Trybunalski, Dorohusk, Warsaw, Zamosc or Lviv. The park is already 65% leased even though construction is scheduled to be completed in the fourth quarter of this year.
We have been operating in Lublin for eight years now, since Accolade first came to Poland. Our warehouse park has remained fully leased. The potential of the region and the development of infrastructure in this part of the country have prompted us to make another investment - said Jarek Wnuk, Managing Director of Accolade in Poland. - As a company, we feel obligated to provide our tenants with the highest quality warehouse space. New investment in Świdnik is another step towards fulfilling our mission. We are confident that the new park will not only be an attractive location for businesses but will also contribute to the economic development of a region characterized by a great potential and access to skilled workforce - added Wnuk.
Accolade's new park is set to be a modern and environmentally friendly facility that will uphold the company's high standards for ecological construction and operation. The project aims to achieve an 'Excellent' level of BREEAM sustainability certification. To enable sustainable energy production, the roof will be adjusted to accommodate the installation of photovoltaic panels. Moreover, the new park is expected to create job opportunities and have a significant positive impact on the region, similar to Accolade's first park in Lublin which provided employment for around 500 people
Lublin is a diverse region that attracts both international and local brands from logistics, commercial and manufacturing industries. The park has been designed and adapted to meet the specific needs and requirements of these companies, ensuring optimal functionality and efficiency. By creating job opportunities and supporting the local economy, the Accolade Park will serve as a hub for growth and development in the area.
