Accolade Appoints Jakub Leszczyński as Transaction Director to Drive Expansion in Poland
Accolade, an international investor in the industrial real estate sector, has created a new Transaction Director position as part of its ambitious growth plans in Poland. At the end of 2024, Jakub Leszczyński, who has been with the company for nearly seven years, was appointed to this role. In his new position, Jakub is responsible for the comprehensive management of transactional processes, including project financing and refinancing, the selection and structuring of development processes, and the acquisition of warehouse projects. One of his significant achievements since assuming this role has been executing one of the largest green refinancing deals in Poland, valued at €180 million.

Jakub began his career at Accolade seven years ago, previously overseeing the Legal Department and Banking Team. As Transaction Director, he and his team are responsible for coordinating all transactional and portfolio processes, maintaining relationships with key partners—including Polish and international banks—and identifying and managing Accolade’s portfolio risk in Poland. Under his leadership, the team has successfully completed one of the largest green refinancing transactions in Poland, worth €180 million.
"The creation of the Transaction Director position and Jakub’s appointment to this role demonstrate that Poland remains a key market for Accolade. To achieve our ambitious goals, we need top-tier experts. Jakub’s career growth mirrors the company’s expansion in Poland—over the past seven years, our portfolio has grown 4.5 times in terms of total area. This also reflects Accolade’s commitment to supporting passionate and dedicated individuals who want to build the company’s success. I am confident that Jakub’s broad market perspective, strong relationships, and deep knowledge of our portfolio will make him excel in this role." says Joanna Sinkiewicz, Group Commercial Director and Managing Director of Accolade in Poland.
Jakub Leszczyński holds a law degree from the University of Warsaw and is a member of the Warsaw Bar Association of Legal Advisors. He also holds the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation. With over 10 years of experience, Jakub was part of transactional teams specializing in M&A, capital markets, and debt financing at both international and domestic law firms before joining Accolade. His expertise lies in managing transactional processes for industrial real estate, advising on development structuring, financing—including green financing solutions—as well as the sale and acquisition of industrial properties.
Privately, Jakub is a happy husband and father who enjoys spending time with his family—including his Akita dog—and engaging in various physical activities.
"I am honored to take on this role, and I am confident that my experience and skills will contribute to the company’s continued growth. Our future plans are ambitious, and I feel a great sense of responsibility and pride in being entrusted with such a crucial role within the group. Whether it’s project financing, selecting or structuring a new development process, or acquiring an existing project, these are all key elements of the investment process that directly impact the growth and value of our portfolio." says Jakub Leszczyński, Transaction Director at Accolade Poland.
