The Western Logistics Corridor Gains Momentum – FIEGE Secures Over 20,000 sqm Across the Accolade Portfolio
FIEGE is strengthening its presence in western Poland by securing more than 20,000 sqm of warehouse space across Accolade parks in Zielona Góra, Gorzów Wielkopolski and Goleniów. The logistics operator is expanding its footprint in two locations while extending its lease in a third, reaffirming the strategic importance of the border region for logistics operations.
FIEGE’s decisions reflect the growing significance of Poland’s western logistics corridor, encompassing locations such as Goleniów, Gorzów Wielkopolski and Zielona Góra. Thanks to its immediate proximity to the German border and efficient road connections with Western European markets, the region enables companies to shorten supply chains and position operations closer to key customers. For logistics operators, this translates into a tangible competitive advantage — shorter delivery times, greater operational flexibility and the ability to serve both domestic and export markets from a single, well-connected location.
As part of the agreement covering three locations, FIEGE is scaling up its operations in western Poland. At Accolade Funds Park Zielona Góra, the operator is expanding its leased space by more than 6,600 sqm to approximately 12,300 sqm. At Park Goleniów, the expansion includes nearly 10,000 sqm of additional space, bringing the total occupied area to 25,900 sqm. Meanwhile, at Accolade Funds Park Gorzów Wielkopolski, the company has extended its lease for more than 4,200 sqm, with the total leased space amounting to 15,300 sqm, confirming the stability of its operations in these locations.
“Expansions and lease renewals within a single portfolio are a particularly strong signal for us. They demonstrate not only tenant loyalty but also the growing need for operational hyper-mobility — companies today must be able to respond quickly to changes in demand, optimize processes and scale operations without the risk of disruption. Regional locations offer stability, availability of space and the flexibility to expand business operations. It is precisely in such markets that we see a genuine competitive advantage today,” says Agnieszka Niezgodzka, Director - Asset Management at Accolade, Poland.
“For many years, FIEGE has viewed western Poland as one of the key directions for our development. The region is a natural location for further expansion, as experienced operational teams are already in place there, and the growth of additional projects allows us to achieve clear synergies between locations in cities such as Zielona Góra, Gorzów Wielkopolski and Goleniów. Our expansions are primarily driven by the continuous improvement of our logistics processes and the consistent delivery of very high service quality for our clients. Many of them grow alongside us, increasing the scale of their operations and warehouse space in the region. At the same time, we are pleased to see that in western Poland we are also signing agreements with new business partners who recognize the potential of this location and entrust us with managing their supply chains. This confirms that the border region remains one of the country’s most important logistics hubs and, for us, a place of further dynamic growth,” adds Tomasz Przybył, Sales and Marketing Director at FIEGE.
