Shaping the future of European business. 15 years and counting.
This year, Accolade will mark 15 years since its founding. In that time, we've grown from a local player into a group operating across ten European countries. Today, we manage a portfolio worth close to €4 billion across 3.9 million square metres, with a team of more than 200 people working from offices in the Czech Republic, Poland, Spain, Croatia, Malta and Luxembourg.
Our fifteenth anniversary is a chance to look back at the journey we've shared – and to look ahead, to the opportunities, plans and direction that will shape where Accolade goes next.
Ambition, vision, solid foundations
Since Accolade was founded in 2011, ambition to do big things has gone hand in hand with a clear vision: to find the hidden potential in land for industrial development, and turn it into modern infrastructure for European business.
We opened our very first park in Týniště nad Orlicí, Czech Republic, in 2013. That same year, we also established Accolade Holding, a.s., which remains our parent company today.
Accolade Fund SICAV followed in 2014, giving rise to Accolade Industrial Fund, the first fund of its kind for qualified investors in the Czech Republic at the time.
Soon after, we also stepped beyond our home market, entering Poland (2015). It was the moment that set the course for the next decade, marking the start of our international expansion.
Diversification and growth across Europe
In the years that followed, we kept building on those foundations:
Our first Polish park opened in Lublin, and we opened an office in Warsaw, which today employs more than 40 people.
In 2017, we took a major step to diversify our infrastructure business, acquiring the operator of Brno–Tuřany International Airport – the second-busiest airport in the Czech Republic, which handled almost 740,000 passengers in 2025 alone.
2018 brought our entry into the German market. In 2019, we expanded into Slovakia, followed by Spain in 2020 and the Netherlands in 2021. Croatia (2023) and Hungary (2024) came next.
Tailor-made space for European business
By the end of June this year, the portfolio we manage comprised 140 buildings, home to more than 200 tenants from light manufacturing, logistics and e-commerce. We grow by focusing on the long term and acting responsibly – reflected in dozens of awards for our projects and our team, and 12 BREEAM New Construction certifications at the highest, Outstanding, level achieved across our portfolio to date.
We're only getting started
Fifteen years in the market is, for us, a great reason to celebrate – and a reminder that we're not just celebrating impressive numbers. Behind the billions in value and the millions of square metres stand our colleagues, business partners and investors who have placed their trust in us – thousands of people, for whom industrial real estate is not concrete and steel, but the infrastructure that Europe's economy is built on.
Fifteen years on, Accolade today stands on solid pillars: land development, development, and investment in it, asset management, fund management and, above all, the people and culture that bring it all together.
We operate as one platform and one team. We keep growing, exploring new opportunities and moving Accolade forward – with determination, and with humility for everything we've built together over the past 15 years.
