As long-time supporters of sport, we were delighted with the success of our athletes on two wheels! Let's take a brief look at a few of their recent achievements.
In the opening three races of the World Supersport 300 category season, the name of the Accolade Smrž Racing Team regularly appeared at the front of the grid, for which talented Spaniard José Luis Perez Gonzalez has to take most of the credit. After three races, he is within touching distance of the best riders, sitting in 4th place overall. He is currently only 4 points behind third place and only 15 points behind the leader, the Italian Gennai. Fingers crossed for the upcoming races!
The Česká spořitelna Accolade cycling team is also doing well! Marek Rauchfuss achieved an excellent 9th place finish in a strongly contested World Series marathon race in Finale Ligure, Italy. In addition, he took second place in the prestigious Malevil Cup. Another member of the team, Karla Löffelmann, is also doing well over longer distances. The recent Czech marathon champion took an impressive 12th place at the European Championships on the same course. All this in competition with the continent’s best female riders and following an illness. What a performance!
We are really proud to be part of these great teams! Their achievements are a wonderful inspiration for us to stay fit and active. That is why we are currently running another ‘Accolade challenge’ for our employees. Watch this space…
