Accolade Actively Engages in International E-Waste Day t Celebrations

Around the world, less than 20% of electronic waste is recycled. In Europe, each of us produces approximately 16 kg of e-waste annually, of which only about 7 kg is collected and processed. We want to change these proportions, which is why we have joined forces with our employees and partners in celebrating International E-Waste Day .

This international event is observed on October 14th and provided us with an opportunity to draw attention to the issue of e-waste and promote responsible management. Starting from October 9th, together with our employees, we collected electronic waste in our offices in Warsaw and Prague for the entire week.

Furthermore, on October 10th, we organized an eco-educational event at Park Lublin. Our tenants and their employees had the chance to dispose of e-waste, whether it was small devices or large items like dishwashers, screens, or lighting fixtures. In this one day alone, we collected more than 800 kg of electro-waste here.

This year's International E-Waste Day was themed "You can recycle anything with a plug, battery, or cable." This simple rule will help us combat improper e-waste segregation, one of the biggest challenges in e-waste management.

For Accolade, caring for the planet and actively engaging with local communities are integral parts of our mission. Our company is committed to sustainable development, which we promote through educational initiatives for children and young people, as well as through Accolade Industrial Art, a program promoting art in industrial parks. Together with our employees and tenants, we strive for a better future and maintaining balance on our planet.

The partners of this year's International E-Waste Day initiative were Odzyskaj Środowisko Foundation, CPI Property Group Pololand i MVGM Cesko.
