We organized a textile collection for Earth Day.
The fashion industry is responsible for as much as 10% of global CO₂ emissions and generates millions of tons of waste each year. Producing a single pair of jeans consumes up to 14,000 liters of water — that’s as much as a person drinks in 20 years! We want to change these statistics, which is why we actively engage in sustainable development efforts.

As part of the GAME4PLANET social-educational program, carried out in cooperation with VIVE Textile Recycling, we organized a textile collection in our office.
To celebrate Earth Day, from April 22 to May 6, our employees were able to donate unused but still usable clothing, shoes, accessories, and plush toys. A specially marked container at the reception filled up quickly — a testament to our shared commitment to the environment.
The result? We collected as much as 120 kg of textiles, which, instead of ending up in landfills, will be given a second life through recycling or reuse.
What does this mean for our planet?
We saved 285 kg of CO₂ – equivalent to over 3,200 hours of watching television.
We reduced energy consumption by 6,500 MJ, which equals 82,068 smartphone charges.
We saved nearly 900,000 liters of water – the amount used annually by over 26 people!
For Accolade, pro-environmental initiatives and supporting local communities are not one-off events, but a permanent element of our ESG strategy. We are proud to work together with our employees and partners to make a real impact on the future of our planet.
