Amazing Kulhavý conquers the Czech national marathon championship for the fourth time

Jaroslav Kulhavý's last professional season in the saddle of a mountain bike has been very successful so far. In Saturday's Czech national marathon championship, he rode to his fourth overall victory in tough competition and will rightfully claim the national champion’s jersey for the remaining races of the season. Jaroslav put his experience to good use in the demanding, technical downhill – that’s where he moved to the front of the race. He then showed his feel for the terrain and defeated the favourite Martin Stošek in the battle for the win.

The winner's teammate from the Česká spořitelna Accolade cycling team, Marek Rauchfuss, also did a great job, getting off to a great start and finally taking the bronze medal with an excellent performance on the difficult terrain. The team's success was sealed by the top 10 finish of Matouš Ulman, who tackled the Dolní Morava course in an admirable manner after some time off due to an illness.

Congratulations to all competitors and fingers crossed for the next races!
