Good news from the Children's Foundation
We believe that supporting children is one of the most important investments in the future of all of us. It is particularly important to help young people who, for whatever reason, find themselves in a disadvantaged situation. The "Restart" project of the Veronika Kašáková Foundation, of which we are a long-term partner, is one such example. The aim of the project is to help young people from children's homes to transition to adult life. They are helped by guides who provide valuable advice, help with administrative matters or just make time to talk about what the children are going through. Recently, we have heard one guide, Jana, share one of her successes with us: one of the foundation’s protégés, Katerina, has successfully moved to a new apartment. What’s more, while arranging for a new home, she also took entrance exams to two universities and prepared for driving school. That absolutely deserves our attention and admiration! We are honoured to be involved in developing the potential of promising young people and will continue to do so.
