Accolade invests in a modern park in Gorzów Wielkopolski and strengthens its position on the western border of Poland

Accolade - an international investor on the commercial real estate market is entering Gorzów Wielkopolski with a project worth nearly EUR 47 million. A modern and environmentally friendly industrial park, which is another Accolade investment along the western border of Poland, will contribute to the region's attractiveness. Lease agreements have already been signed by Logoplaste and Omnipack. The first stage of construction will be completed next month, and the facility obtained a BREEAM certificate which guarantees high standards of sustainability.

The expansion of the Accolade portfolio, worth over a billion euros, by the Gorzów park, is a reflection of the company's strategy, which assumes investments in a network of industrial parks located in strategic places on the map of Europe, with access to high-quality infrastructure and located near key business centers. Over half of the Polish portfolio is brownfield investments, carried out on the premises of former industrial facilities. The latest acquisition will join the network of 27 industrial parks in the Czech Republic, Poland, Germany, and Slovakia and will be the fourth, next to Szczecin, Zielona Góra, and Legnica, investor's location along the western border of Poland. Accolade always plans and builds its projects to meet the BREEAM certification requirements which guarantees a high standard of sustainability and working conditions as well as energy self-sufficiency.

"Thanks to the possibility of flexible module shaping, we are able to meet the requirements of clients from various industries in this location. The available space in the new park can be easily adapted both in terms of technical specifications and the area of individual production, storage and social-office rooms. This is the advantage of multi-let industrial space and this is how Accolade wants to contribute to shaping modern business infrastructure in Europe. "- says Michał Białas, Country Head of Accolade Poland.

The logistics and industrial park in Gorzów, whose developer is Panattoni, is to ultimately have over 71 thousand m2 completed in four stages. Currently, there are almost 19 thousand m2 under construction, and the completion of the first stage is approaching.  Logoplaste and Omnipack became the first tenants. The first of the companies comes from Portugal and deals with the design and production of plastic packaging. Logoplaste has 63 factories in 16 countries, where employs over 2,100 employees. Omnipack is a logistics company specializing in complex services for e-stores.

"Gorzów Wielkopolski is a city of 120,000 inhabitants, conveniently located from the point of view of the logistics industry and warehouse and production business. While its ability to service the modern industrial market is confirmed by large investments of companies such as VW, TPV or Faurecia, so far, no large multi-let class A parks existed there. The proximity of the Polish-German border, location by the S3 expressway and considerable employee potential from the very beginning spoke in favor of this investment. The developed urban infrastructure and friendly living conditions for the city to attract qualified staff and entrepreneurs. We are convinced that we will soon acquire more tenants and invest in the implementation of the next stages of the investment.” adds Michał Białas.
