Toyota Material Handling CZ has taken over completed premises at Park Zdice
Toyota Material Handling CZ, a leading supplier of material handling equipment on the Czech market and part of Toyota Industries Corporation, has started using modern premises in Zdice. In the new hall, the company will provide comprehensive material handling solutions, equipment rental and service with an emphasis on efficiency. The premises will also serve as the headquarters for the company in the Czech Republic. The developer is Panattoni, and the investor is the Accolade group.
Toyota Material Handling CZ (Toyota MHCZ) is one of the leading suppliers of material handling equipment on the Czech market. It offers a wide portfolio of forklifts, warehouse equipment and automated solutions, complemented by rental, service and consulting services. Thanks to innovations in electrification and automation, it helps customers increase productivity and safety in logistics and manufacturing.
“The opening of the new hall in Zdice is another strategic milestone for Toyota MHCZ. The new premises, which match our growth pace and technical requirements of modern operations, connect essential components supporting our offer – a new warehouse with an area of almost 12,000 m², a multifunctional demo area, a modernly equipped service workshop, as well as an administrative section that ergonomically and aesthetically reflects our overall care for our customers, partners and employees. Everything is combined into a whole that meets demanding sustainability, technical and energy efficiency standards with a strong emphasis on safety. The new environment conceptually incorporates the values of the Toyota Production System, which are an inherent part of the wide range of Toyota brand material handling equipment, as well as our own facility operations. We are absolutely convinced that the new modern Toyota MHCZ environment will bring our partners a higher level of service and all of us new opportunities for further development on the Czech market,” said František Mikeš, Managing Director of Toyota Material Handling CZ.
For Toyota MHCZ, it is key to operate in an environment that is not only efficient but also sustainable and environmentally friendly. The new premises with an area of almost 14,000 m² are targeting BREEAM New Construction certification at the Excellent level.
“Toyota MHCZ's decision to locate its operations and headquarters at Panattoni Business Park Zdice confirms our ability to offer tailor-made solutions to clients. We designed the project to meet high demands for sustainability and operational flexibility. We are pleased that the park is becoming a place where cutting-edge technology meets a responsible approach to the environment,” says Jan Andrejco, Regional Director of Panattoni.
“Toyota MHCZ has long been one of the brands pushing logistics and manufacturing towards greater efficiency and automation. It is no coincidence that such a partner chose modern, sustainable facilities in one of the most promising locations on the Czech industrial market. In our parks, we purposefully create infrastructure for companies that bring high added value, technological solutions and qualified jobs. Investment in Park Zdice is another step towards making the regional economy competitive and ensuring local industry meets high sustainability standards,” says Jiří Stránský, Head of Development at Accolade group.
Strategic Location and Infrastructure
Park Zdice is located at exit 28 on the D5 motorway, approximately 40 kilometres from Prague, with excellent connections to Pilsen and the Rozvadov border crossing. The complex offers a total area of over 70,000 m², with a significant portion comprising green spaces. The project includes a retention basin for rainwater collection, a cycle path and newly built transport infrastructure that minimises impacts on surrounding municipalities.
“I am very pleased that we have managed to bring such a strong tenant as Toyota Material Handling CZ to Business Park Zdice. They are a significant supplier of material handling equipment on the Czech market. For the town of Zdice, this is a great promise of cooperation and support in various areas, such as sports, culture or social affairs. What I appreciate most is that this is a company that employs and will continue to employ our citizens and workers from the surrounding area. I look forward to mutual cooperation,” concludes Přemysl Landa, Mayor of Zdice.
