ČEZ Group Becomes New Tenant at Brno Airport Park. Warehouse Space to Support Power Plant Logistics

ČEZ Group, one of the largest energy producers and distributors in Central Europe, represents a significant and prestigious new tenant for Brno Airport Park. ČEZ will utilize 2,557 sqm of space for its operations, and the modern industrial zone facilities will enable the company to efficiently store key components for the operation of the Dukovany Nuclear Power Plant.

"Expanding our warehouse capacity is another step toward increasing the operational reliability of Dukovany. The new warehouse will enable us to improve the quality of spare parts storage and ensure that key components are always available on time and in appropriate condition, especially during unit outages. At the same time, it will allow us to begin renovation of existing storage facilities at the Heřmanice site," said Roman Havlín, Director of Dukovany Nuclear Power Plant.

The excellent location and outstanding transport accessibility, combined with high sustainability standards, are the decisive attributes attracting numerous well-known companies to the modern Brno Airport Park complex.

"ČEZ's arrival at Brno Airport Park clearly confirms its attractiveness and strategic value. Companies from sectors ranging from logistics and e-commerce to key industries such as energy find first-class facilities for their growth here. Projects of this type are not just places for business but become essential parts of the entire economy's functioning. Investment in them thus brings value that far exceeds the square metres themselves," said Jakub Ryvola, Associate Director – Asset Management for Czech Republic at Accolade.

The Brno industrial complex is located in one of the most attractive industrial locations in the Czech Republic and, thanks to its strategic position, provides seamless connections to key transport arteries: the D1 motorway and Brno-Tuřany International Airport. From a single location, it is easy to serve Prague, Bratislava, Vienna, and Ostrava logistically.

"We are pleased to have been able to prepare facilities for a company that is crucial to the Czech Republic's energy infrastructure. This demonstrates that modern industrial properties with high sustainability standards and excellent transport accessibility are a clear choice not only for multinational companies but also for major Czech companies," adds Matěj Hejma, Regional Development Director at Panattoni.

The park, with a total area of over 110,000 sqm, is designed as a unique multimodal complex. In addition to the road network, it utilizes connections to a railway siding and the airport runway system, enabling efficient logistics and reducing the burden on surrounding roads. The complex is also excellently accessible by public transport, facilitating employee commuting.

The premises of Brno Airport Park are used by numerous other major companies, including IKEA, DHL Express, Phoenix Freight, PST CLC, Sinclair Global Group, Maurice Ward Logistics, Baby Direkt, Marmon Foodservice Technologies, Erba Lachema, EC Logistics, and Dermacol.
