Leading logistics company Kuehne+Nagel has taken over a completed industrial hall at Business Park Prague Airport II, located near the Central Bohemian village of Pavlov. The new building expands the company's contract logistics capacity and enables further growth of its services at a strategic location close to Václav Havel Airport Prague. The project was developed by Panattoni and financed by investor group Accolade.

Kuehne+Nagel has been operating in the Czech Republic since the early 1990s, building a long-term presence across sea freight, air freight, road logistics, and contract logistics. The handover of the new hall marks a further step in modernising the company's infrastructure and creating a high-quality working environment for its employees.

"Contract logistics is a significant part of the services we provide, which is why we are delighted to be able to offer our customers 9,000 square metres of new warehouse space to the highest standard, while also providing a safe and modern environment for our employees. With sustainability in mind, we welcome the fact that the building is targeting an Excellent rating under BREEAM New Construction certification. The cooperation with Panattoni, which managed the construction, was equally excellent," said Luboš Voráček, National Contract Logistics Manager at Kuehne+Nagel.

The hall has a total leasable area of 10,500 square metres and is fully occupied by Kuehne+Nagel. Approximately 9,000 square metres are dedicated to warehousing, with the remainder comprising offices and mezzanine space. The building was designed and delivered to meet the specific operational requirements of the tenant, with an efficient operational layout and room for further development of logistics activities.

"The new building for Kuehne+Nagel combines outstanding transport accessibility, a high technical specification, and a commitment to sustainability. We designed the hall as a fully functional unit tailored to the tenant's needs to support their operations and future growth over the long term. This represents another successful chapter in Park Prague Airport II. We are proud to welcome another multinational company to the park," said Jan Andrejco, Director of Regional Development at Panattoni.

The building is targeting an Excellent rating under the BREEAM New Construction international sustainability certification. Features include fossil-free heating via heat pumps, provision for photovoltaic panels, a rainwater management system, electric vehicle charging infrastructure, and biodiversity-supporting elements within the site. These technologies help reduce operating costs and the environmental impact of the building.

The new hall is the second building in the park developed through the partnership between Panattoni and investment group Accolade. The combined leasable area of the jointly completed projects in the park exceeds 21,000 square metres. The total area of the industrial zone is approaching 140,000 square metres.

"Kuehne+Nagel is among the global leaders in logistics, and their choice of this location sends a strong signal to us as an investor. We believe that decision reflects not only the park's excellent positioning, but also the way we approach every project – including our long-term partnership with the municipality of Pavlov. We thank everyone who contributed to making this happen. We wish everyone at Kuehne+Nagel every success in their new home and look forward to continuing our partnership," said Jiří Stránský, Chief Development Officer of Accolade Group.

Park Prague Airport II is located directly on the D6 motorway, approximately 10 minutes from the Prague city boundary and under 15 minutes from Václav Havel Airport Prague. The location is also well served by public transport – both a railway station and bus connections are within walking distance, making it easy for employees to commute from surrounding villages and the wider region.
