Accolade is back at it again! The second industrial hall for EUR 30 million will grow up in Bydgoszcz.
Accolade initiated the construction of a new logistics park in polish Bydgoszcz. Park Bydgoczcz II will be built in the near area of its older brother Bydgoszcz I. Bydgoszcz is thanks to the unique Mill Island, which is located in the heart of the city, industrial center since the middle Ages. Investment exceeds 30 million euros and construction, under control of Panattoni Europe, should be completed in the first half of 2020. Modern logistic building area of 37,000 square meters, aiming to BREEAM „Very Good“ award. The building is already contractually leased by leading Japanese logistic and transportation company Nissin Logistics.
Nissin Logistics, a subsidiary of the Nissin Corporation, is one of the leading companies in the world of transportation and logistics services, operating in Europe, Asia, and America. Part of the building, 18 295 m2, in Bydgoszcz II will the company facilitate as a warehouse for its client, the company is producing metal packaging materials (cans). The company will offer job vacancies for 200-300 people.
„In Bydgoszcz, we firstly invested in 2016 and the first park was in the while fully rented. After 3 years we decided thanks to the huge success and increased demand, to come back and invest in another hall. Bydgoszcz is very lucrative for international business thanks to its excellent connection to shipping, rail transport, air transport, and even road transport,” commented Milan Kratina, CEO Accolade.
Accolade invested into Bydgoszcz I in the years 2016/2017 and offered 50 110 square meters of the industrial area, on the space of old chemical plant, which is completely occupied. This year Accolade came back to the area and is building Bydgoszcz II. Parks are located in very lucrative locality thanks to many years of industrial traditions and qualified labor force in the region. Park Bydgoszcz II is located in Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship a few minutes from yet existed Bydgoszcz I park and public transport stops. The huge benefit of the location is connectivity with other regions. Bydgoszcz II is placed 3kms from city bypass, between port Gdansk and logistic hub in Łódź, which is one of the biggest rail hubs on the intersection of 131 line connecting Chorzów with Tczew and line from Piła to Kutno and lies on an important road from Warsaw to Szczecin (road S10 is under construction) a in the vicinity of road S5, which help with connectivity with Olsztyn and highway A1 Bydgoszcz, Poznań, and Wrocław.
