The statistics are not optimistic: an average of 500 000 cases of sudden cardiac arrest are recorded in Europe every year. However, rapid defibrillation of a person in sudden cardiac arrest before doctors arrival increases the chance of survival by up to 80-90%.
We care for the common safety - not only of our employees, business partners and tenants, but also of other people in the close proximity of our parks - which is why we decided to equip them with automatic external defibrillators. AED equipment has been installed in 15 parks so far and we plan to roll it out in all of them. In all locations, we conducted trainings for selected staff first aid and AED service.
